Caffe Vita, Smith Tower

A previous cafe was transformed into a multi-functional space blending a coffee shop with a reception area for the smith tower museum and back office space.

BMDC provided construction services for the conversion of existing ground floor café into a multi-functional space consisting of a new Caffe Vita coffee shop, Smith Tower Museum Reception & Back of House Office Space. The project included preservation of original building finishes, notably the mosaic tile flooring. The project team was tasked with executing creative collaboration between MEP trades and the design team to prevent any new core drills into this historic building. Extensive high-end casework & millwork package throughout the caffe and museum.
