BMDC provided construction services for the renovation and expansion of a historic 1923 two-story unreinforced brick building. The project involved extensive seismic upgrades to the existing structure and the construction of a new five-story addition, creating 22 residential units and new ground-floor commercial space. A sloped bridge structure was used to seamlessly connect the old and new buildings, blending preservation with modern functionality.
