Beechers / Sugar Mountain hq / test kitchen

BMDC transformed a former car dealership into the new headquarters and test kitchen for Sugar Mountain, blending commercial and residential cooking capabilities with restored timber elements and all-new MEP systems.

BMDC provided construction services to create the new headquarters for the Sugar Mountain group which includes Beecher’s Cheese, The Butcher’s Table among others. The test kitchen was designed for both commercial and residential style cooking. This way they can create new recipes for their restaurant locations but also test cook their line of frozen offerings.

This former car dealership building has true 2x10 car decking and other large timber elements that we brought back to life. The build included all new mechanical, electrical and plumbing services and a type one hood with an exterior mounted grease shaft.
